Carters has operated its own OHS&W Management System prior to this accreditation and strictly abides by the terms and requirements of the Occupational, Health, Safety and Welfare Act 1995.

Due to its stringent on-site safety control, Carters can modestly boast
that an industrial accident has not occurred on any of its projects. All of
Carters operations staff perform specific risk assessments and complete
a JSA (Job Safety Analysis) before commencing any inspection task and
carry out all inspections in accordance with specifically developed
asbestos SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
