Carter Corporation is an Asbestos Management company with over 18 years experience working in the construction industry. As an environmentally conscious
and responsible company we are committed to caring for and protecting our
natural environment.

Our aim is to integrate responsible environmental management into all that we do.

To demonstrate our commitment to the environment, we will;

• Strive to be an incident free organisation.
• Use best practice option to reduce and prevent pollution.
• Apply a risk management approach to address environmental impacts arising from our activities, products and services.
• Comply with applicable legislation, regulations, standards, codes and licences which relate to our environmental aspects.
• Ensure supervisors, employees and contractors are trained and have the knowledge and skill they need to undertake their work in an environmentally responsible manner.
• Require our people and visitors to abide by all environmental policies, procedures and other requirements.
• Engage in effective consultation and open communication about environmental issues.
• Conduct incident investigations fairly, with a focus on implementing preventative actions.
• Establish measurable objectives and targets based on our significant environmental aspect to continually review and improve our environmental performance.
• Require our people to comply with client policies and procedures whilst onsite where applicable in line with statutory regulations.

This policy applies to all employees, agents and contractors of Carter Corporation Pty Ltd and to any person or organisation that acts for or represents it.
